Jimena Mendoza

Artist presents an installation at the exhibition. This artist initially analytically accumulates information or visual perceptions, which she subsequently intuitively interconnects in a creative manner. She thinks in complex installations, in which the origin of mutual – narrative, iconographic, playful or very visual – relations between individual parts is key. She imbues ceramic clay with the lightness of a fabric and the strictness of geometry, matt colour and the richness of references.
