Salvatore Arancio

Artist develops his typical style, which interconnects natural and scientific archetypes. His ceramic sculptures take on fantastic and organic, spontaneous and energetic shapes, which the artist further emphasises by using various qualities of glaze. Their metallic matt and hypnotic lustre effects make intuitive recognition of the material more difficult for the viewer. Along with shaping, Arancio uses his work to reshape reality, as if not only testing the boundaries of nature, but also the material itself.
